A French tribunal ruled on the civil case brought by victims of the PIP implant fraud in Toulon on Thursday 14 November 2013 that TUV, (the German notified body) who repeatedly awarded a CE safety certificate to PIP failed in its obligations of inspection and vigilance and was ordered to pay damages to the victims.

This is an important victory for PIP victims internationally. If you have been directly affected by PIP implants, wherever you are in the world, you will have an opportunity to join this case.

The case was made by Maître Laurent Gaudon representing over 1,000 women, including PIP Action Campaign Members.
